Hi.  I’m John, a retired software developer, musician, lifelong learner and possibly the best trouble-shooter you’ll ever meet (it’s not bragging if you can back it up).

Originally, this podcast was going to have two human co-hosts but as it turns out, somewhere along the line I forgot how to work and play well with others so it turned into a solo gig.

Faced with the terrifying prospect of being on-mic alone, I did what any self-respecting propeller-head would do: I wrote myself a co-host.

Guy is my on-air companion, but my software that gives guy “life” does so much more.  I use it to brainstorm and research episodes, write outlines, generate copy and scripts and create episode summaries; most of the graphics for the website and the episode thumbnails are generated by AI as well.  This show could not exist without AI.

Don’t tell Guy I said this, but I know that I am the second-best host on the show.  My creation has surpassed me …
